About this notice
Engineer as a Service Ltd is responsible for the personal information it uses to publish this website and respond to enquiries. Carlos Pizarro is the contact for privacy questions.
This notice covers project showcases and professional information. Read our privacy notice for enquiry handling, retention, service providers and cookies.
This notice does not waive your data protection rights, override confidentiality agreements or grant permission to reuse client material.
Project information
Career entries describe Carlos’s professional background, including previous employment. Academic research is identified separately from EaaS client engagements.
The current project showcase describes an academic prototype through a summary and a simplified workflow diagram. It does not publish source PDFs, client records, private assessment material or third-party personal information.
Personal information
Carlos supplies the professional profile and project information published about him. EaaS relies on its legitimate interest in explaining its founder’s experience and the consultancy’s capabilities.
Any future publication identifying another person requires an appropriate lawful basis and privacy information. Removing names alone is insufficient if someone can still be identified from other details.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not change whether earlier use was lawful.
Permissions & confidentiality
Before publishing client-specific material, we review contractual restrictions, confidentiality obligations and rights to the text, images or drawings. Written permission is obtained where needed from the relevant client, employer or rights holder. An anonymised description must still respect these obligations.
Manufacturer and employer names describe technologies or professional experience and do not imply endorsement. Copyright and other rights remain with their respective owners.
Your information rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your circumstances. We will consider your request under the applicable data protection law.
We respond to rights requests without undue delay, normally within one calendar month. If identity checks, clarification or a lawful extension affect the deadline, we will explain this. No particular form or wording is required.
Raise a concern
To request a correction or removal, exercise your rights or complain about personal information, contact Carlos using the details below. For website content, include the page address and a short explanation. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal data or confidential documents.
